I was at a rocky hillside face and it was sunny There were nine apertures in the hillside and pipes like drainpipes led into the hillside I was part of a team who had to pour money into the hillside for cleaning and only coins of $1 and $2 New Zealand denomination were allowed The mixture to clean them with was made of fried brown onion and ammonia The onion made a schoolgirl s watch so smelly she had to take it off but seemed to take it in her stride Although only the $1 and $2 coins were allowed other coins slipped thorough including a penny that was a huge gold coin and some coppers and silver I had to check the pipes to make sure they were kept clear I had a bit of difficulty checking the top pipes because of the distance When I looked through the third one in the top row I could see coins piling up in it
